The story: she’s from a family we bought the original cow for £800 at auction back in 2008, now she’s at the cutting edge of the breed🧬

Sexed & beef is at the heart of our genetic programme, whilst it’s easy to get swept up in the numbers the other side deserves more attention!
Producing quality BxD calves suitable for the market is a needs must, and with sexed male we’re adding more to the bottom line (1/2)

The HG Sire Shortlist for August 2022.
A collection of sires we think are the best on the market: eight for dynamic breeders plus three for type.

We're getting ready for the next season, with a month til implantation.
Heights of +3041TPI and NM$1059, our progress shows no signs of slowing. (PTA)

What do you look for when selecting sires? For us, it's this long list of traits from over three national evaluations.
Lactanet (CA), CDCB (US) and AHDB (UK) evaluations play an integral role in our sire selection, with an added focus on the sire's country of origin proof.
You may notice the absence of certain indexes and traits, such as £PLI, Feed Advantage and UK Type. Simply put, we find these do not compliment nor strategically correlate with the kind of animal we see compliments the system we run at home.
