I am a lifelong, loyal Democratic voter. I served President Clinton on the National Security Council, Madeleine Albright at the State Department, and Joe Biden in the U.S. Senate.
I desperately want Democrats to win majorities in the House and Senate, but not at any cost. That’s why I’m calling on my fellow Democrats to support patriotic Democratic Senate candidates across the country while opposing Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan. In my judgment, his words and actions make him unfit for the United States Senate.
We rightly condemned Republicans who failed to stand against the January 6 insurrectionists. We must hold ourselves to the same standard and reject toxic candidates who put our democracy and national interests at risk. Putting country first means upholding our principles even when the candidate we must oppose is one of our own.

BREAKING: 🇵🇱 Coup d'état underway in Poland
Coup d'état underway in Poland after EU-aligned Prime Minister Donald Tusk sent police forces to the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw right after President Nawrocki left for Senegal for a diplomatic visit.
Nawrocki is currently headed back to Poland.
The President of the Polish Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw, Bogdan Swieczkowski, was suspended and possibly arrested. He is a known support of President Nawrocki.
Several right-wing Polish MPs and their supports are reportedly on their way to the Constitutional Tribunal to defend the institution from being taken over by Donald Tusk.
Warsaw's police forces are preventing the President of the Constitutional Tribunal Bogdan Święczkowski, members of the Sejm and protesters from entering the Constitutional Court.

Meta’s AI bet is becoming a credit story. S&P cuts its outlook to NEGATIVE, warning that heavy capex and delayed AI monetization could keep free operating cash flow negative longer than expected. The sting: S&P sees Meta’s ability to monetize AI as more limited than peers’. Ratings affirmed for now. Meanwhile, 5y default insurance costs have climbed to ~125bps from ~50bps a year ago. Building AI is expensive. Proving it pays is the harder part.

BREAKING: S&P Global revises its outlook on Meta, $META, to "negative," citing "significant uncertainty" surrounding CapEx and free operating cash flow (FOCF).
"The negative outlook reflects our expectation that the company's leverage could exceed 1.0x and FOCF could remain negative for longer than expected," S&P said.
S&P is now raising concerns about AI CapEx.
