Our second grade class adopted a cow! Her name is Marla. We are excited to learn more about where dairy comes from and how cows grow.

After a LONG computer-based test, we took time to recenter our focus, become aware of our frustrations, and breathe our way back to a peaceful, positive, focused environment. Independent emotional regulation is just as important as core academics. @MobilePublicSch #balance

How appropriate that #ImAMentor day came right after a day that shows us how important future leadership will be. Invest in our youth, find their potential, and defend it. To see change, you need to be change. I promise you won’t regret it!

Any other #science #teachers like to pull a modern day #MsFrizzle? I have animals, plants, rainbows, planets, insects- and always looking for more ideas! I probably get way more excited about it than the kids do, but it’s fun! #scienceteacher

I think a lot of people envision a stuffy environment in this new normal we’re working through. My kids are still able to be flexible, safe, and comfortable, while still being independent and responsible 👏🏼@HallElementary @MobilePublicSch
