ALT 🧠 SCIENTISTS MAY HAVE FOUND A WAY TO HELP THE BRAIN CLEAR ALZHEIMER'S-RELATED PROTEINS — USING A VIBRATING MATTRESS! What if gentle vibrations could help your brain remove some of the proteins linked to Alzheimer's disease? In a new study published in *Nature Communications*, researchers in Finland tested a combination of gentle whole-body vibrations and a medicine that helps widen blood vessels in 29 healthy adults. After the treatment, brain scans revealed changes in fluid movement, while blood tests showed an average increase of about **35% in beta-amyloid 42**, a protein associated with Alzheimer's disease. This may indicate that more of the soluble protein moved from the brain into the bloodstream. But there is an important catch. The study was small and measured short-term changes in healthy people, not improvements in memory or a reduced risk of Alzheimer's. Researchers also warn that the medicine can lower blood pressure, making this unsuitable for trying at home.
