The loans that didn't work out, must have bred self-doubt at times...questioning yourself...will I make it type thoughts.
The many managers & coaches needed to support him can never go unnoticed or unappreciated (and they won't).
The importance of resilience, confidence, determination and the ability to consistently turn up to put in the work cannot be underestimated.
And these special moments must take harry back to those lonely days/moments that I mentioned above and fill him with so much pride.
We all see the records, the goals, the fame etc now but the journey is the real special time to savour and look back on.

Where do I begin? That was an evening I'll never forget.
It’s an incredible honour to receive the Ballon d’Or award after a year full of goals, trophies and special milestones. Thank you to all the staff and my teammates at @england and @fcbayern, as well as family, friends and everyone who’s supported me – this wouldn’t be possible without you all.

Ngl this applies to me for any sport and other things where someone that's humble and respectful is a lot more likeable than someone who isn't (even if they're good at what they do). If they check both boxes of being elite AND a nice person (Like Dembele) it's perfect. What a guy
