After watching shocking scenes of the police handling of a peaceful gathering of women in Clapham this evening, the Government’s attempt to rush through Parliament next week a significant increase in police powers over public demonstration & activities surely has to be resisted.

With @The_TUC & @DailyMirror we’re fully behind the campaign to vaccinate Britain. We need vaccination rolled out everywhere. We need GPs resourced & pharmacy mobilised. We need frontline health care workers protected with the vaccine urgently. This is a race against time.
