After the most beautiful time off with this little dream, I am getting back to work! I’ve been lucky enough to get a new job and am so excited to take on a new challenge! I feel very privileged to be in the position to be mummy to these incredible boys! And do a job I love.

The early symptoms of a heart attack don’t always feel severe.
A squeezing across the chest. A feeling of unease. It’s never too early to call 999 and describe your symptoms.
#NationalHeartMonth

ALT Infographic describing the early signs of a heart attack. The text reads "Early signs of a heart attack: Pain that spreads from your chest to your arms, jaw, neck, back and tummy; Chest pain - a feeling of pressure, heaviness, tightness or squeezing across your chest; Feeling light-headed or dizzy, uneasy, sick, sweaty or short of breath." Additional text reads "A heart attack is a medical emergency. If you think you or someone else may be having a heart attack, don't delay. Call 999 immediately."

Truly exceptional. A huge thanks to the team out on the measles front-line locally taking vaccines to people who need it most.

Really proud of this collaborative work vaccinating the most vulnerable against measles. Hoping it doesn’t rain! #nurses

With ~90% of all NHS activity happening in primary care, the #NHSworkforceplan’s aim to increase the number and proportion of staff working in the sector is really welcome and sensible. 🧵1/8

WARNING: In a few hours, stories about the NHS workforce plan will begin to drop (inc ours).
NONE of the writers will have seen the actual report - which won't be published until tomorrow morning.
This is now a well established tactic from this Gov 1/2

Listening to George Evans-Jones at the @NHSConfed UK primary care Forum. Great review of where PCN’s and ICS are up to and what does the future hold. Looking forward to a great day of collaboration and sharing ideas and challenges! Good luck chair @ArunaGarcea!

Delighted to hear @AmandaPritchard talk about primary care and community services in her @ConfedExpo keynote. I think we will need larger primary care space next year we deserve at least that for delivering 90% of care and 2 million more appointments

Often an organisation needs big change, but good ideas (that leaders say they want) are impossible to implement. One of the biggest barriers is "social defense": a collective, hardly conscious, effort to preserve "traditions": structures, strategies & cultures. You cannot fight social defense with data or strong arguments. You have to show you care about what the traditions are trying to accomplish: hbr.org/2023/04/driving-orga… "Care for tradition can make change possible." By @gpetriglieri.
