Urban Squirrels are proud to support a new petition calling for an end to the killing of healthy animals in London’s Royal Parks. Each year, hundreds of squirrels are killed despite being healthy, non-dangerous, and an established part of these shared public spaces. Lethal control of wildlife in city parks raises serious ethical and ecological questions and deserves public scrutiny. There are humane, non-lethal alternatives. Killing should not be the default response.
