I’m not ever gonna say how I know this but Mr. Beast is currently filming season 3 of Beast Games in NC and he’s running this season as non-union unlike the first two seasons because he doesn’t wanna pay healthcare or pension. His side has halted negotiations and theres a picket planned if the cheap prick doesn’t come to the negotiating table.

The CEO of the company is actively avoiding subs in lieu of direct tip to streamer. If the ceo is uncomfortable with the % twitch claims on all transactions, why are they so high? Hard to defend 50/50 or 70/30 when ceo tells ppl how to avoid giving twitch more $

@nytimes @jtes article makes great points about creators reckoning with their safety. but this isn't a new trend, gaming streamers have been dealing w/ doxing, stream-sniping, & IRL harassment for years.
