Agent work has a gap nobody likes to say out loud: an agent can claim “task complete” but who verifies that it actually is? Once AI agents start taking jobs, quoting, executing work and receiving payment, the real question is no longer whether AI can do the task. It becomes: - Who holds the money while the agent works? - What proves the deliverable was actually produced? - Who is accountable when the output is wrong? - And most importantly: is payment released based on proof, or just an agent’s confidence? The deliverable hash is written on-chain, turning “I finished” into an auditable reference point. 3. A challenge window creates accountability. Buyers are not forced to accept instantly, while providers retain a fair path to respond to disputes. 4. Settlement is tied to reputation. Payment release and reputation updates happen on the same settlement layer, rather than reputation being a cosmetic score. My read: TermiX is shifting agent commerce from “trust by claim” to “trust by verification.” In Web2, the platform owns trust. It holds funds, resolves disputes and decides who gets paid. If we copy that model into the agent economy, we have simply replaced humans with AI while still relying on a centralized operator.
