"Hello. My name is -------, and I am addicted to AirFix Figures..." Here is a sample of what happens to people like me. When the ups and downs of the supply chain dry up the sources for actual AirFix, one makes do with what they can find. Here, a Miniature Figurines LTD Lead figure was unconsciously painted to resemble the Sheriff of Nottingham as found in the AirFix. In a related incident, one of my more interesting Hobby Shop moments happened when I came upon boxes of the HaT Miniatures 7000 series of reissue boxes of AirFix figures. This was after a very long period of nonavailability of the AirFix-branded boxes.

I do really like these for bulking out a battalion for the tabletop. Should have the whole 36 man battalion painted but Tuesday with any luck!!

Painted these up last night. That’s the last of this batch of @HatMiniatures Prussians painted and the battalion finished. I’ll get the bases done and then some pictures of the whole battalion together. Used command figures from Perry and flag from flags of war.

Thought I’d do a size comparison with the @HatMiniatures 28mm Prussians. L- R wargames Atlantic plastics, HaT plastics, Perry plastics. They are a really good match to all of them, ideal for use on the tabletop.
