According to @treyniven, Justin Rose has been dealing with a "neck niggle," which is British for a minor injury. Apparently he's gotten it "sorted," but at age 45, a niggle can quickly turn into a bit of a bother, and the next thing you know you're being carted off.

Zac Blair spent five years feeling like he shot the highest score available whenever conditions got hard. That was how he described it after the second round of the U.S. Open, telling Real Golf Radio he'd gotten used to compounded mistakes instead of containing them, and at some point had lost the ability to grind. Then he survived four days at a brutally hard Open setup and came away proud. He made key saves, holed big putts, and looked like someone who'd found a piece of his game he thought was gone. TPC Deere Run may be a cakewalk compared to Shinnecock Hills, but a player who just rediscovered his floor is in a much better position to raise his ceiling. Go watch the three holes of Blair's Tuesday practice posted by the tournament's Instagram, and tell me he isn't about to go low.
Absolute stones on @Mike_Kim714 to make the cut. I've pounded the table all week and I'll keep pounding: He's literally telling you his game is trending. Believe him.
