I wish I could say this were possible in a class of 14 year old who have missed most of the last two years of schooling. I did laugh a little… at the crazy behaviors and my attempt to teach whilst they were occurring. These poor kids have a rude awakening awaiting them. 😢

The UN report says climate change is a code red for humanity. In the medical world, a code red means people drop everything and run to the person who is in trouble to administer whatever is needed to keep them from dying. Our world needs that.

I still hear our Superintendent’s words. I try to check in with staff as much as I can and use the same words He asked me: “How are you? Is there anything you need?” These words are much more powerful than telling staff “you got this”…parents need to hear this too. ❤️🐻
