One of the most impressive parts of yesterday's win for me was the post-game interview with Garrett Mitchell. What a true Servant-Leader. Let's Go Champs!

Taking the time to listen and learn leads to stronger decisions, stronger cultures, and stronger organizations.
That’s why I launched our LSS' new CEO Colleague Committee.

This photograph may be faded, but the values it represents have endured the test of time.
When I look at it, what strikes me most is how intently I was looking at my father. Even at that young age, I was watching him; learning from his example and taking in lessons I would not fully understand until many years later.
Born in Milwaukee to Puerto Rican parents, I inherited far more than a cultural identity. My family gave me faith, perseverance, a strong work ethic, and a responsibility to use my life in service to others.
These roots have never diminished my love for America; they have strengthened it. Pride in where we come from and gratitude for the country we call home are not competing ideals. America is at its best when each of us brings forward the strongest values of our heritage and puts them toward a greater purpose.
During Hispanic Heritage Month, I honor my parents and all those who came before me because it was their courage, sacrifices, and determination that created opportunities for the next generation.
The photograph may have faded, but their example remains vivid. The greatest way we can honor those who came before us is to carry their values forward and create even greater opportunities for those who will follow.
Let’s go, champ! 🇵🇷🇺🇸

Together, we’re creating pathways to hope, healing, dignity, and belonging.

Some of my most important leadership lessons were taught at home. Growing up, I learned to work hard, treat people with respect, keep my word, stay humble, and never forget where I came from. As I reflect on my journey, including the influence of my mother (pictured), I'm reminded that many of life's most important virtues are learned around the dinner table, through faith, and from the people who sacrifice for the next generation. I share many of those lessons in My Journey from Boxing Ring to Board Room.
I share many of those lessons in my book, My Journey from Boxing Ring to Board Room, because I've come to believe that leadership is ultimately about people. It's about building trust, serving others, and helping individuals discover and use their God-given gifts.
What's one leadership lesson you learned from your parents or family that still guides you today?

I, along with @LSSWis, join fellow community partners in celebrating wellness, connection, and a strong start to the year ahead.
