Yesterday Labour announced an extension of the independent film tax credit. I used the opportunity to raise the importance of the film industry to Calderdale's economy with @lisanandy . Film and TV was worth 850,000 to Calderdale last year alone.

Never, ever doubt the commitment of an international community that has been so transformed by this amazing story. It’s not a fandom; it’s a movement, one that wants all of our sisters and misters to feel that amazing transformation for themselves. #BringBackGentlemanJack
What a sight to behold over @shibdenhall yesterday. We continue to be absolutely bowled over by the spirit and determination of the Gentleman Jack fans. Anne Lister would be proud! 🎩🏳️🌈🙌
