DUDEE I LOVE HOW JAMES GUNN DESCRIBES CLARK ITS SO PERFECT #superman2025
this argument is retarded though and only comes from white people. you can’t just up and move on a moments notice and people shouldn’t have to give up the things they love about a place just because racist hicks can’t leave their old ways behind.
comic jimmy olsen. bless you james gunn.
Skyler Gisondo on The People v. Gorilla Grodd:
“I think the stakes of the show are surprisingly big. It’s deeply funny, and I think people are going to be surprised by the stakes, where it goes, and how big it gets. It’s definitely a more intense version of Jimmy Olsen than we’ve seen before.”

gunn can literally say anything and some middle aged man will get on twitter and write up a think piece nobody cares about, about how he’s miserable and hates his job
I'm starting to wonder if James Gunn regrets taking the DC Studios job. And the more he talks, the more I think he might be realizing just how much he signed up for.
During the recent THE SUICIDE SQUAD podcast, Gunn joked about regretting taking the job, and his wife Jennifer Holland played along. Obviously, they're having fun with it, but I do wonder how much truth is buried in that joke. Especially when he's now retroactively declaring a five-year-old movie the first canon film of the DCU, despite SUPERMAN originally being presented as that starting point.
Then there's his recent Threads response to a fan who put together a DCU timeline. Gunn said, "Timelines give me anxiety but I think this is pretty good."
James, you're building a cinematic universe. Timelines, continuity, character development, and interconnected storytelling are literally part of the fucking job. In 2023, you were promising a cohesive, interconnected universe that was supposedly more planned out than Marvel. What happened to that?
And look, I don't envy the guy. SUPERGIRL died at the box office, CLAYFACE hasn't exactly set the world on fire, and now Skydance owns Warner Bros. There's enormous pressure to deliver, and I think Gunn is discovering that running an entire cinematic universe is very different from making a few GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY movies within one.
Which brings me back to something I've been wondering for a while. Does Gunn actually want to keep doing this? Or has the reality of managing the DCU started to outweigh the creative freedom he thought he'd have? I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually steps away from the executive role after MAN OF TOMORROW. Not because I want him gone, but because I think he'd probably be happier just making movies again.
friendly reminder to let people grow and change their ways. if you deny them that and focus on their past mistakes youre actively removing someone from participating in the cause of creating a better world.
u dont have to forgive people for their past but you can let them change
utah gonna go blue and when people try kirkifying dudes with ai its just gonna be mamdani and james talarico lmao
i think my biggest problem with powerscalers, specifically stupid ones, is they project their stupidity onto the character they want to lose in battles because they genuinely cannot comprehend smart choices.
his contingency plans involve freezing and shattering him. not that this matters at all. he has a contingency for superman that doesn’t mean superman loses to plastic man
for now popular saitama is you’d think one punch man as a series would have similar popularity. i see so many people talking abt him that haven’t even watched or read past season 1. the manga is practically dead with how few people are reading it
dragon ball fans are the dumbest people on this planet man. this is what watching the same boring plot and constant fighting does to your brain over the years
grown men talking about “you aren’t real gamers” will never not be funny
