Few hours to launch @HelloWorldJobs and macbook crashed!
I had to cancel all appointments, and experiment the driving process, while engaging my team. I only told @doncurrent what was going on, just incase he doesn’t hear from me, he can always cover.
Went to bed at 1:45am on 25th only to wake up at 8:20am to a message from @anyathebrand “bro the site is down, check if you can open from your end”.
DNS verification, but I had done all these na, no time to complain, I went back to it.
Macbook came back, thanks to my space MacBook; DNS fixed before folks noticed it, @Morh_gan12 sent in her video plus a concept for her graphics which @JoyTheBUIDLr ate 😸, we still held the space - @GlobalSoma_ and @eke_gg didn’t let the pressure get to me even tho they didn’t have an idea what was going on.
This is an appreciation to everyone that made the launch worth it, I would be updating our analytics by the end of today.

Some people really think being a founder is easy.
You wake up one morning, come up with an idea, build a product, and boom! You’re a founder.
But one thing is to build a product, and another thing entirely is to execute, get people to use it, and keep it running.
Building something people actually need is one thing. Getting them to use it is another ball game entirely.
Story time, guys 🌝
When Hello World V1 launched a few months ago, we had a target of getting at least 1,000 users on the app. I was given a personal target of bringing in at least 200 users.
One thing about this whole founder wahala is that you’ll build a product and still have to beg people to use it.
Back to my story🌝
I entered one of my friends’ DMs. This was someone I knew was relatively new to the tech space, so I asked him to help me sign up.
He said he would share the link with his teammates so they could sign up.
I appreciated him, but I still insisted that he sign up himself.
Ladies and gentlemen, wetin this guy reply me ehn? I just off😭😂
He said, and I quote:
“So you want me, a founder/CEO, to sign up for another founder’s product?”
Omo💀
So because you’re a founder, you can’t support another founder?
I left that chat. I didn’t even have the strength to reply him.
Fast-forward to last week, I decided to check up on him and find out if he’d launched his project.
Lo and behold, the project had been abandoned😭😂
Omo, I believe say this guy don understand small of wetin e mean to be a founder now.
Because being a founder isn’t just about having an idea or building a product. You need money, a community that believes in what you’re building, consistency, GRACE, and the strength to keep going when things aren’t working out as planned.
Building is one thing. Getting people to believe in what you’ve built is another.
I’m not trying to mock him, o. But omooor, it’s well.

Hello World, how ready are you for a new role?
It’s been almost a year since I started learning how to code and become a developer, but guess what? I haven’t really applied for a job. Why? Because deep down, I keep feeling like I’m not ready.
When I was first introduced to Hello World V1, I checked out the listed jobs, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find any that matched my tech stack.
Fast-forward to now, Hello World V2 is live, and I decided to give it another shot.
I signed up, unlocked a few startups, checked out their requirements, and started putting in the work.
I built proof of work, followed them on X and LinkedIn, engaged meaningfully with their posts so they could notice me, and eventually sent them a cold DM.
And guess what? I GOT AN INTERVIEW🤭
Me? Someone who has been holding back because she didn’t feel ready?🥹
Fingers crossed🤞🏽 Hopefully, this turns into something beautiful.
