Evening,
We are looking to recruit co-ordinators to help us distribute sanitary products to some of Homed Society's partner hostels (1/2).
There will be an additional donation point on the Wednesday 2nd December, again at 10-4 pm in the dance studio opposite the Co-op in Leeds University Union.
Don't forget: our virtual pub quiz is this evening, starting at 7 pm. Get tickets here: eventbrite.co.uk/e/homed-pub…
(2/2)
As well as donations of sanitary products and toiletries, tomorrow's drop-off point is open for donations of empty shoeboxes, wrapping paper, goodies to fill the shoeboxes with and already-filled Christmas boxes for the annual HOMED Christmas box appeal (1/2)
If you haven't any plans for Tuesday night...
A reminder that our virtual pub quiz is taking place this Tuesday 24th November at 7pm! Team and solo entries welcome, all we ask for is a £2 donation to help those living on the streets this Winter. Don’t miss out - we have ACE prizes for the best teams! eventbrite.co.uk/e/homed-pub…
Great news! We will be in the DANCE STUDIO of the union again tomorrow and the 25th Nov 10am-4pm! Thanks so much to everyone who donated - please please keep donating!
Here’s a reminder of some of the items we are looking for:
Sanitary towels
Tampons
Panty liners
Soap
This coming week, HOMED have a manned donation point in Leeds University Union in Room 6 on the second floor on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th from 11-2 o’clock.
Donations of sanitary products and toiletries would be highly appreciated! Hope to see you there!
#periodpoverty
Although the pandemic has meant a slow start, we have begun to distribute bags of sanitary products on Homed’s sandwich runs. Please keep donating #periodproducts to food banks and charities! Covid doesn’t mean that #periods stop!

Since HiH's founders have moved outside of Leeds, the running of the project has been passed on to the University of Leeds Homed society's HiH coordinators, Olivia and Nadia. We are very grateful to the HiH team for trusting us with this and hope to continue their wonderful work!
Hope everyone's well - just wanted to update you all on what's been going on in the past month or so! (1/3)
