If your plan for localization is “just keep it in Japanese and expect English speakers to learn what Japanese words mean,” that’s not a plan. Imagine if they did that in Spanish shows and left “usted” and “tú” to show the difference. It would sound bizarre.

Ratchet & Clank released on PS2 24 years ago today. Every new planet brought different enemies, Gadgetron weapons, hidden Gold Bolts, and gadgets that opened new paths to explore. The mix of exploration and ridiculous weapons made the original special.
