I feel like an underdiscussed factor in a possible Simon Edvinsson trade is that Nashville has a LOT of good young prospects and are aggressive to try and get better. Calgary is in a very similar boat. If you can get CGY, NSH, and UTA in a bidding war, that's how you get THE guy.

It's wild that MBN and Finnie are both top 5 in scoring on the Red Wings with only a single PPP between them. MBN (8) and Finnie (6) both individually have more 5-on-5 points than Larkin & Raymond combined (5) Imagine if they weren't stuck with that absolutely rancid PP2 unit.
