Thatβs what Neil says. βIt keeps my neck warm.β I said, βso wear a scarf,β to which he replied indignantly, βIβm not FRENCH.β

I fear this might be my most controversial take ever, but I agreed to put it to a vote so here we are.
Hoodies should only be worn by men young enough not to look silly carrying a skateboard.

I agree. There is an age limit on when men can wear Hoodies. @jk_rowling I think there is a book in this somewhere

I didn't get to vote in the poll. Hooded cloaks need a fashion comeback.

It is possible that a good friend, hearing of my strong personal views on hoodies for middle-aged men, bought not only my husband but every member of the friend's and my own family identical hoodies, which they all wore to lunch. And they made me wear one.

Wrong. This was a full and fair vote. It's now legally binding and you are required to buy everyone a hoodie.

I would like to remind the two members of my immediate family who voted against me in this poll that this was an unofficial, non-legally binding referendum, conducted under duress. In fact, I suspect vote tampering.

New Yorkers gave the answer to this yesterday at NO Kings.

The presidency of the United States is an office, not a throne. Today, the American people sent an unmistakable message to the wannabe king with the largest single day protests in American history β 'No Kings.' ππͺπβοΈπ

ππ° The Blood Is The Money. The Money Is The Blood.
Let me tell you what just happened to your country and to the world. Because someone needs to say it plainly.
They lied. About everything.
βA short excursion.β Thirteen Americans are dead. βNo ground troops.β The Pentagon is now preparing weeks of ground operations in Iran. βThe war is very complete.β Hormuz has been closed for 27 days. βProductive discussions.β Iran says they never happened. βVery very temporary.β Consumer confidence just dropped below the 2008 financial crisis. Every single statement this administration made was the exact opposite of what followed.
And behind every single lie, someone got paid.
March 23rd. The bond market is cracking. Fourteen minutes before Trump posted about βproductive conversationsβ that Iran says were invented, someone bought $1.5 billion in S&P futures and sold $580 million in oil futures. By 7:10 AM, $60 million in profit. The Financial Times documented it. Bloomberg confirmed it. Senator Murphy asked what every American should be asking: βWho was it? Trump? A family member? A White House staffer?β
Nobody answered. Nobody ever will. Because the people who are supposed to investigate work for the same people who are getting rich.
They lied to the American people to enrich themselves. They sent other peopleβs children to die so that a handful of men could profit from the chaos. They broke the global economy, $5.2 trillion erased from the markets, $52 billion fleeing Asia in a single month, famine approaching, and somewhere inside that circle someone is counting money while families are counting coffins.
And now, because every lie failed and every improvisation collapsed, they are sending ground troops into Iran. Not because there is a plan. There was never a plan. There was an assassination, then a hope, then a closed strait, then a panic, then a fake peace announcement, then a pause, then another pause, and now boots on the ground because there is nothing left to try.
This is what it looks like when a nation is looted from the inside. Not by a foreign enemy. By its own president and the people around him. They turned a war into a trading desk, soldiers into expendable inputs, and presidential lies into buy signals for those close enough to hear them first.
This is pure evil. This does not scare Trump. This IS Trump.

In response to questions for this story, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a statement:
βItβs the job of the Pentagon to make preparations in order to give the Commander in Chief maximum optionality. It does not mean the President has made a decision.β
