Two sergeants, and a Lieutenant gave me a ton of praise, the County district attorney emailed me and said she owes me a steak dinner. As Ice cube once said .. "Today was a good day"
I take a quick photo of their schedule and leave the restaurant. Nobody even saw me enter or take a photo of the schedule at the host stand. Talk to my Sgt. Came up with an ops plan and did a stake out. Nabbed her when she came to work and it went flawless. (part 2)
Today I randomly picked up an overtime shift. At briefing they told us there is a Ramey warrant for a chick who is wanted for attempted murder on 4 counts. I literally went to her job when they opened looked at the roster on the host stand and saw she came in at 6pm (Part 1)
I touched down in LAX and in an hour and a half I finally made it to the rental car place. I'm not a fan of this city #LosAngeles
Yesterday marked a full year at the PD. In pure mamba mentality fashion. I totalled 81 separate arrests. Feels good!
My first day back at work from being off 9days cause of the Rona... 2 arrests. One for a guy with 4 felony warrants after I found him leaving a robbery at a Safeway. I fucking love work
If you have a class of people drive to a location for training and you zoom in as an instructor, I feel it's highly disrespectful. We have people from San Luis Obispo drive to Oakland for this class. You live in Alameda Co and can't attend? Disrespectful to our time IMO.
I want to tweet about how great work has been, all the speciality assignments I've already got in and what I'm being groomed for but, never high step before you get to the endzone
Live has been absolutely great for me the past 8 months. Family is great, job is absolutely outstanding, finances are great as well. I'm enjoying this time period to the max. I know it won't always be like this but while it is, I'm going to savor it.
Working in a toxic workplace and/or hating work absolutely kills the soul. I'm watching it happen to a ex-coworker and I feel bad. However I'm grateful for where I'm at
