There is no TV show I've watched twice. But there is one that I've watched about two million times. Along with The X-Files, Highlander: The Series is my comfort watch when it comes to shows; yeah I know it off by heart, but its characters and themes never get old. Ironically. HA!
An example. AI will confidentelly assert falsehoods and contradict itself repeatedly. When you correct it, it will apologise and promise to be competent from then on. It isn't. Annoyingly, it will talk about the facts being "locked down" anyway. NEVER rely on AI for information.
This guy's videos are my new favourite thing. Now I say on all my channels that I don't use AI, and it's the same for all my creative works. But frankly, I'm not sure HOW anyone COULD confidently use it. Every time I've engaged with it I end up correcting it. Not reliable at all.
In December they're releasing a four issue comic based on Gregory Widen's original Highlander script. As with animation, I'm not really into comics, but I LOVE this realistic style. It reminds me of the gorgeous graphic novel of The Hobbit that my step-dad read to me as a kid.
Earlier on, a friend of mine said he'd never seen Highlander: The Search for Vengeance, so I went to YouTube for clips and found the whole movie. Yet it's longer than mine and it has different voice actors. Wonder if it's the director's cut I'd heard of. youtube.com/watch?v=maIy6cf-…
Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of Highlander Lore! I started the channel as I attempted to emerge from the darkest period of my life after a devastating loss. Summoning the will to persist with it was the one of the best decisions I've made. Thank you all for your support!
I know I rarely post on X, but what do you guys think about Xena and Hercules? Given they were categorised under Legendary Heroes along with the Highlander show in the day, I'm sure many are fans.
Also, @girlmeetstv_ who inspired this makes great videos; I recommend her channel.
Amazon restored access to all of Highlander: The Series, at least here in the UK it did! Thanks for all the offers of alternative sources. Now I can begin to catch up!
