Recent storms and tidal flooding have brought an overwhelming amount of trash and debris onto our Bayshore beaches. I was happy to get out with my family and lend a hand alongside community volunteers who care deeply about protecting our shoreline. A special thank you to Beth Koenig for organizing these cleanups and to everyone who dedicated their time to making a difference. Our beaches deserve more than occasional cleanups. They deserve consistent care, especially following major storms and tidal events. Looking forward to working with the County and community toward making our beaches a safe and clean space for generations to come.

At some point, members of Congress who have been in office for nearly 40 years can no longer claim they're stuck in the swamp. They're part of the plumbing.
