4/5 stars. This is a cute read for summer.

We love Canadian middle grade fiction (authors not shown may currently be out to our readers 😀)

Hmm, maybe librarians shouldn't play favorites, so we won't tell anyone how much I love Jonathan Auxier's books @JonathanAuxier #peternimble

This memoir arrived last week, and is honest, raw, and incredibly well-written. It's getting lots of buzz, so we suggest you check it out.

If you're a Michael Crichton fan, this newly release book (it was discovered on his computer posthumously) will be a pleasant surprise.

Thank you @Scholastic @scholasticCDA for spreading the word about this. Kids who choose what they want to read are happier readers.

We bet you can't guess the colour theme of this post. 😉 Lakes, swimming pools, skies, freezies...blue is definitely a summer colour.

It's a year ago this weekend that we moved Intro our brand new children's department. #timeflies #librarylove

Here is the schedule of events for the July 1st celebrations in Headingley.

I spent my day talking about the summer reading program with the students at our local elementary school. What a great day! #tdsrc
