Thank you Girl Scout Troop 12240 for visiting us yesterday! They had a lot of great questions about emergency response in Hoboken as they pursue their first aid badges and asked FF Oliveri about being a female firefighter.
ADVISORY: HFD is responding to reports of fire on the 1000 block of Clinton Street. Please avoid the area as roads and sidewalks may be temporarily closed.
The @HobokenFire Dept. responded to a smoke condition near the @CityofHoboken terminal. The fire is out, the terminal is open & all transit is operational. If you need to use the terminal, follow the direction of @NJTRANSITPD who are assisting #HFD and @HobokenPD.

A large smartphone graphic on the right displays a City of Hoboken community message sent via Everbridge Nixle, with a notification bell icon at the top and the Everbridge Nixle logo near the bottom. The background features a sunny blue sky, leafy trees, and Hoboken's waterfront, where people are relaxing on the grass at Pier A Park with the Manhattan skyline visible across the Hudson River.
🚒Our Uptown Firehouse is getting a much needed facelift. Necessary structural repairs will require a temporary closure of the 1313 Washington firehouse. Emergency coverage will not be interrupted, with operations relocated temporarily.
