This team just refuses to lose! Great leadership all the way around, and they are having the most fun of any team in the country. Entire lineup on a 6-game on-base streak, and 8-9 spots in the order combined for 8 hits today. Salisbury, Maryland here we come! #RollRoons #19inarow

Butka works around a 2-out wall-ball double from Luke Alvarez to put another zero on the scoreboard in the 3rd. Still no strikeouts, but he has limited contact quality well, as he does. #d3baseball

Butka closes out a 1-2-3 fifth inning by striking out PAC Hitter of the Year Josh Dezenzo for his first punchout of the ballgame. Still 7-1 Maroons. #d3baseball

"Look, any school can go 100-plus years without a conference championship in baseball. That streak is over in Hyde Park, where the Division III Maroons are gearing up for the NCAA Tournament," writes columnist Steve Greenberg. chicago.suntimes.com/college…
Excellent story about a truly inspiring group of guys! Let’s go Maroons!
