Play Donovan and you get the uplift in excitement that came in the last 30-odd minutes. If you still lose or drop points, fans will be far more accepting than having to watch the absolute dross that was the first hour today (and for much of the season so far) #sufc #twitterblades
Romelle Donovan rises to Chris Wilder's challenge with a star turn against Derby that surely puts him in pole position to start next week against Wrexham - whether that's on the right or the left

Big Dunc as new Glens boss. Not sure what to make of it but it’ll be fun at least

The bumper window caught up with Northern Ireland a bit in the end. Should have won it through Magennis and/or Price but 2nd half was the performance of a team that had run themselves into the ground for 3 1/2 games over a very short period. Overall superb. Up the clean sheet NI

⚽️ The average age of the @NorthernIreland starting X1 t face Hungary tonight is 2️⃣2️⃣.5️⃣
Another good performance from NI. Understandably tired towards the end so it was a case of making sure they got something from it. Defence superb. Ciaron Brown becoming a bit of an unsung hero lately; Atcheson and McConville excellent beside him
Andy Burnham's proposal to lift the ban on alcohol in grounds is a step forward for equality for football fans. It's a quick an easy win. Next up he needs to look at the aggressive way fans are treated... that one's not so quick and easy

Have been thinking about writing about identity in Northern Ireland for a long time so here goes.
This is about not defining someone by one aspect of their identity & then building assumptions around it - because in NI it is complex and evolving.

Good Morning 💙🤍💙🤍
As mentioned in last nights podcast we are extremely proud to be able to offer free sensory packs to any children visiting the game Vs Stockport.
As the crowds at S6 grow so does the atmosphere and that may not be ideal for all supporters young or old. For everyone that requires additional support we hope these packs will give comfort to be able to watch The Owls.
Please email [email protected] if you would like one of our bags. Apologies there are only a limited number.

Can't say I've come out of watching the Rosen i'view more knowledgable about the situation than before.
Credit, I suppose, for saying something but getting your mate to ask questions you've chosen yourself isn't quite opening up

RIP Mike Morgan - a great old-school story-getter and fine journalist, trusted by readers and the managers and players who formed relationships with him. Lovely tribute from his long-standing friend @AlanBiggs1 footballwriters.co.uk/editor…

The deadline-day moment that summed up a window of chaos and confusion as COH/1919 let down Chris Wilder, his players and most importantly, United fans

Leaving Bramall Lane after a long day, a big win for United on the pitch but off it it’s been a stinker. The team has something about them and I’m pretty sure will improve which will ultimately let the owners off the hook #sufc #twitterblades
