UK, Australia, Canada, and France recognized a Palestinian state after Mahmoud Abbas promised elections in 2026. He just postponed them again, to 2027. Pay-for-slay continues under a new name. School textbooks still glorify terrorists and reject a two-state solution. Recognition was the prize. The conditions were the price. The price was never paid, and there are no consequences. Why trust any PA promises about peace? honestreporting.com/recognit…

Peter Beinart defended Brad Lander’s West Bank olive-harvest stunt by comparing him to the Jews who went to Mississippi for Freedom Summer. The Palestinians Beinart champions did not respond to their circumstances with nonviolent marches. They responded with kidnappings, suicide bombings, and October 7. Lander is not a Freedom Summer volunteer. The West Bank is not Jim Crow Mississippi. Hijacking Black history to launder anti-Israel activism does not make the comparison true. honestreporting.com/peter-be…

Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s own memorial film shows Muhammad Nabil al-Zaq adjusting a professional camera. Then it cuts to him training with a rifle, wearing Military Media insignia, and standing in armed formation. He identifies himself as “a son of the Al-Quds Brigades.” The camera was part of the unit, and it provides one last picture into the mechanisms behind PIJ's military media system. honestreporting.com/the-came…

Qatari state broadcaster Al Jazeera made a video attacking David Ellison for buying Warner Bros. and merging it with Paramount. Qatar helped pay for that deal and now owns 10% of the company. If Ellison is too pro-Israel to own CNN and CBS, why did Qatar help pay for it?
When @DavidEllison's Paramount closed its takeover of Warner Bros., it put HBO, DC, CNN, and CBS News under one company: @Skydance. @AJPlus built a video around a simple idea: one pro-Israel family now decides what America watches. It spread everywhere. The Murdochs own Fox News and the New York Post. Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post. Neither got this video. What AJ+ never tells you is who is making that argument. AJ+ is Al Jazeera, and Al Jazeera is owned and funded by the government of Qatar, a country with numerous human rights abuses. Here's what else they never tell you. Qatar's sovereign wealth fund owns 10.6% of the company AJ+ just made a video attacking. They're not outside observers. They're shareholders. Why is a state broadcaster warning you about a private owner's influence, while never once disclosing its own? That's not a question about media ownership. It's a government using a newsroom to decide which owners you should distrust. And of all the men who own American newsrooms, they picked the Jewish one. "Kick the Zios out," wasn't just in Montreal. It was chanted in Amsterdam as well on October 11. "1. We are the people! 2. We won't be silent! 3. Liberation, now, now, now, now! 4. We free the people! 5. We free the land! 6. Let's kick the Zios OUT, OUT, OUT!" A video from London also appears to contain part of the chant. Source: Utrecht for Palestine Instagram

Brad Lander’s West Bank olive-harvesting publicity stunt. Palestinian flags at violent protests in France. Hamas banners at rallies marking the October 7 massacre. And a media narrative that increasingly treats Israeli society itself as the problem, regardless of who wins the election. Four stories, one familiar pattern: political messaging dressed up as something else. We cut through the spin in this week’s roundup. honestreporting.com/globaliz…

With Election Day approaching, Brad Lander chose to visit the West Bank to pick olives and accuse Israel of ethnic cleansing rather than campaign in his own district. He has opposed Iron Dome funding and advocated alliances with anti-Zionists, yet was still denounced as a “Zionist.” @jpozmanter argues that Lander is learning the hard way that appeasement never satisfies those demanding it. honestreporting.com/brad-lan…

Hollywood's loudest anti-Israel voices get plenty of attention. Here's a better headline. Israeli designer Arik Weiss has won an Emmy for Outstanding Title Design for Marvel's Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage. His striking opening sequence draws on French New Wave cinema. And Weiss says that in Hollywood, being Israeli was a non-issue. Turns out great work can still speak louder than politics. honestreporting.com/israeli-…

⚠️ A missile didn't just "land" in Majdal Shams. It was fired by a terrorist group and struck a civilian area. ⚠️ Hezbollah initially claimed responsibility for firing missiles at targets near Majdal Shams. It only denied its involvement once it realized that it had killed 12 children. ⚠️ Just because a terror group denies responsibility, this does not mean we don't know who fired the missile. Why is @FRANCE24 providing cover for Hezbollah's terrorism?

1/ In a sprawling new feature, ABC News Australia recasts Israel’s defensive buffer zones, set up after a multi-front war launched by Hamas and widened by Hezbollah and Iran-backed forces, as a story about Israel “redrawing the map.” The bias starts right in the headline and never lets up. 🧵

6/ ABC News Australia says Israel struck Syria “in support of the Druze,” and that “some see Israel as protectors.” It’s framed as Israel’s claim, and a matter of opinion. It leaves out why Druze might need protection. In July 2025, Syrian government forces entered Sweida. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported 300+ dead, including 27 Druze civilians killed in “summary executions.” A Reuters reporter saw homes looted and burned. ABC News Australia mentions none of it.

7/ ABC News Australia is entitled to scrutinize Israeli military operations, settlements and government policy. But analysis should distinguish temporary military control from sovereignty, settlements from buffer zones, and security measures from permanent territorial claims. Instead, they bundle them together under one dramatic thesis, turning a war started against Israel into a story about Israel redrawing the map.

Dumb or dumber? A) Galway students boycotting Coca-Cola, whose West Bank franchise employs more than 1,000 Palestinians and supports over 10,000 local livelihoods. Or: B) @Independent_ie covering the boycott while apparently being unable to spell Israel. Activism this well-informed deserves journalism to match.

American Jews and Israeli Jews share a history, an identity, and a future. But do they still understand each other? October 7 exposed a divide that had been growing for decades. On this episode of The Honest Take, Ben Chertoff sits down with author Daniel Gordis to discuss why American and Israeli Jews see the world so differently, how antisemitism and the war have reshaped their relationship, and whether the growing rift can be repaired. Two communities. Two very different realities. One Jewish people. Listen to the full episode anywhere you get your podcasts.
