Two out of three talks in AI sessions coming across as heavily AI influenced - Difficult question? Immediate answer. Declarative statement - hyphenated chaser. Rule. Of. Three. #ERA26
I break this account out of hibernation for this at #ERA26. See you all next year!

Presented at #KidneyWk:
Two years of empagliflozin slowed kidney disease progression or cardiovascular death. In a post-trial study, empagliflozin had additional cardiorenal benefits after discontinuation. Full post-trial study results: nej.md/3NE3W7K

Lovely few days in #Edinburgh for #UKKW2024, and looking forward to some informal network building opportunities in Bournemouth #UKKW2025 open.spotify.com/track/50VJq…
Two great challenges from Morgan Grams @meg21212 at #UKKW2024 - 1. Be sure our higher risk patients get access to the drugs they need - 2. Base decisions in lower risk patients on individualised absolute risk reduction - RAASi might be enough! ckdpc.org/risk-models.html

Professor Bruce Gutherie- only 2% on people with CKD don’t live with another condition #ukkw2024
Big takeaway for me from #UKKW2023 (from multiple sessions, @IgAN_JBarratt and others) - substantial risk of progression of IGAN to ESRD even in groups who might be considered low risk - borderline CKD, minimal proteinuria.
Frailty interventions - KOKU project - sounds pretty similar to what we already have through @beam_kidney, well embedded in the kidney community - what am I missing? kokuhealth.com/ #UKKW2023
