the next breakthrough in on-chain finance may not come from making more data public. it may come from making private data useful. today, financial information carries immense value, trading activity, account balances, transaction history, and portfolio positions can all inform better decisions, but on public blockchains, using this information often comes with a trade-off: reveal it, or leave it out. glad to see @primus_labs working to change that equation, by combining zkTLS for verifiable off-chain data with FHE for computation on encrypted information, Primus is building infrastructure on BNB Chain that allows sensitive data to become actionable without making it public by default. this is more than a privacy feature, it creates a different foundation for financial applications, one where users can interact with on-chain systems while maintaining greater control over what their activity reveals. the long-term opportunity is significant: financial services that are verifiable without being fully exposed. as the industry moves toward more sophisticated on-chain products, the ability to preserve confidentiality while enabling meaningful computation could become a defining part of the infrastructure. privacy is not simply about hiding information. it is about making sure information can be used without surrendering control over it.
