🚨 BANK OF AMERICA ESTIMATES BPC-157 ALONE IS A $2B MARKET
From a recent note:
"We previously estimated a ~$2Bn TAM for BPC-157 alone, and believe $HIMS could capture a reasonable share of an accessible market given its brand and marketing strength."
"HIMS appears well positioned to capture a fair share of the peptide opportunity given strong brand equity, marketing reach, and vertically integrated pharmacy infrastructure which should enable scale ahead of competitors."

🚨 BREAKING: FDA PEPTIDE POLICY PASSES WHITE HOUSE REVIEW
NOW MARKED "CONSISTENT WITH CHANGE" ON REGINFO DATABASE
- Review officially concluded Oct. 27
- FDA can now move toward issuing its interim peptide compounding policy
- Likely to expand access to certain peptides (eg, BPC-157, TB-500) under regulatory safeguards
- Awaiting official FDA publication, could happen any time
🚨 PEPTIDE NEWS: FDA interim peptide compounding policy clears White House review.
OIRA marked the “Interim Access Policy for Compounding Using Certain Peptides” as “Consistent with Change” on Oct 27.
Next step: FDA can publish it. Reports point to temporary expanded compounding access (e.g. BPC-157, TB-500) via enforcement discretion.
Whoa
We're thrilled to announce the Superpower Peptide Library.
Every peptide, mapped to the body.
152 peptides, from approved drugs to compounds still in trials, sorted by where they act.
Each one has its own page, reviewed by a physician and fully cited, covering:
- the evidence and how strong it is
- its FDA status
- it's mechanism of action
- what studies in humans have found
Because not all peptides are equal.
Semaglutide is FDA-approved. BPC-157, maybe the most talked-about peptide for recovery and repair, is not. In a 2025 review of its research, 35 of 36 studies were in animals or the lab.
Know the science before you buy the hype.

🚨 BREAKING: MOTS-c could be the peptide that shields kidneys from diabetes. in diabetic mice, the more MOTS-c they got, the less kidney damage showed up in their urine
• the study → diabetic db/db mice plus human kidney cells in the lab (Biochemical Pharmacology, Oct 23)
• what changed → less damage to the kidney's tubules, less fat stuck in kidney tissue, fewer immune cells moving in, and kidney cells aged slower
• how → MOTS-c turned down LARS1, a brake on the cell's fat clean-up. block the clean-up and the protection disappears

The interesting part is what they’re trying to accomplish.
Rather than treating complications after they develop, researchers are testing whether Dalargin can protect tissues against surgical stress, ischemia-reperfusion injury and systemic inflammation.
The trial was powered around a hypothesized reduction in major complications from 35% to 20%.
That is the target, not a reported outcome.
This continues a Soviet research tradition of using regulatory peptides to improve physiological resistance to extreme stress.
Trial: NCT07404358

A Soviet peptide just completed a Phase III clinical trial involving 200 patients.
Dalargin, a synthetic analogue of the endogenous opioid peptide leu-enkephalin, is being investigated at Moscow’s Botkin Hospital for preventing organ damage after major abdominal surgery.
The Dal-PROTECT trial was randomized, blinded and placebo-controlled.
Researchers administered Dalargin intravenously for 72 hours, investigating whether it could reduce postoperative cardiac injury, acute kidney injury, respiratory failure and sepsis.
The trial was marked completed in September 2026. Results have not yet been posted.

Lilly is fiercely protective of retatrutide, but plenty of other companies want a share of the market. I’ve looked at the rival triple agonists, what their human trials actually show, and which claims are still waiting for evidence. There’s rather more competition than most people realise.
