Construction of the Elective Centre at Southmead Hospital is moving into a new phase with prefabricated units arriving from Monday (13 May). Some traffic disruption is likely during deliveries so please avoid the Monks Park Avenue entrance if possible, especially at peak times.

"A crane and prefabricated units will start arriving at Southmead Hospital from Monday, 13 May. "Some traffic disruption is likely near the Monks Park Avenue entrance over the next four weeks, particularly at peak times. "Thanks for your patience and understanding during these works on the exciting new centre, which will increase capacity for surgery across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire."
