New Maximus CL replacement from @InterGrain1 - noticeable improvement in rust resistance over maximus, slightly stronger early growth, canopy pretty clean in high pressure season.
Cracking day for the first trial day of the season this morning, the site is looking a picture. Canola, lentils, barley, knockdowns. Nutrition, weed control, crop effect and new varieties all on site. Platinum Ag Coorong & Murraylands investing in local R&D. @Jacob_bell9

Does anyone know a seedhawk icon system guru in Australia? Doing some VR maps and occasionally hit hiccups getting into the system. Be good to have a contact
Long shot: but has any one done any true independent trials on water conditioners in irrigation? Fair investment to install, but if it can improve the efficiency of the saline water then it’ll pay.
Proud as punch at how this one had come together. Absolutely belting site considering the year!
Malinong, SA.
Ticked the Cairns to Cape ride off the bucket list a few weeks back. Off road on the might DRZ….. highly recommend it for anyone needing to get well out of phone range!
GRDC comes to Malinong! NGN session this arvo was a belter, @1800weevil and Kassie the JD guru were the main event talking grain storage, grain losses and header optimisation. 30 odd farmers came together and got an update from GRDC and participated in an NGN session!
Metsos weather stations: anyone have one? Any experience with wiring on them? I’ve got a random wire floating loose and can’t work out where it comes from!
Next week there’s demo strips being put into the drier area’s! Come along and look at the practical fit for amelioration within the Murray plains and southern mallee areas! @Jacob_bell9

Sam Trengrove wins the GPSA innovation award, absolute guru and always working on issues we can’t see coming. Well deserved. @TrengoveSam
Bride is shopping in Lincoln. So watching some nail biting cricket in JumpShip brewing and being patient! I can feel a husband of the year award coming on.
Well done to @AndrewThomfarms for being announced as a finalist in the GPSA farmer of the year award. Well deserved for his leadership in farming practices in the mallee. Well known for championing ag research, leading the way with farming practices or mentoring younger farmers.
Bit of fun to record this, it’s great to be able to shed a positive light on what we do, and hopefully help a few new agros into the industry, there’s plenty of room, and plenty of older greyer (or balder in my case) who are willing to help!

2024: will be an interesting season to have in the rear view mirror. Challenging, lowest ever rainfall on record. Only about 120mm GSR. We have crops, impacted by frost, drought, and have been management challenge after challenge, they’re nothing special but we have something!
