BREAKING: "I am deeply ashamed of him” RFK Jr.'s sister Kerry Kennedy tears into him for his disgustingly racist remarks about Arabs.
And she was just getting started...
"There's 500 million Arabs in the world, and yet they don't produce science, they don't win the Nobel Prize, they don't win the Fields prize, they don't win the Wolf Prize, they don't produce literature," RFK falsely claimed at a rally for Mike Rogers in Michigan.
It represented a new low for a man who sold his soul for power inside Trump's administration and it was a blatant attempt to smear Abdul El-Sayed, who is Arab-American. Since they can't contest him on the merits of his policies, right-wingers have been relying entirely on Islamophobic and racist attacks. For the record, Arabs regularly win awards in everything from literature to chemistry.
In response to the hateful remarks, Kerry Kennedy posted a quote from her brother on Larry King Now back in 2016 when he said, "The easiest thing for a political leader to do is to appeal to our bigotry and our hatred and xenophobia and prejudice, and point to people who are unlike us and say they're the ones who are damaging our country."
Beneath the post was where she really tore into him—
"There was a time when I completely agreed with my brother," wrote Kennedy. "Today, I am deeply ashamed of him. Arab and Muslim people alike have made extraordinary contributions to the world across literature, science, mathematics, medicine and countless other fields."
"To name a few, Omar M. Yaghi won the Wolf Prize in Chemistry in 2018 and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2025. Ahmed Zewail won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1999, and Naguib Mahfouz won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1988," she added.
"A person's race, religion, ethnicity or socioeconomic background does not determine their intellect, creativity or capacity to contribute to humanity. My thoughts are with all those hurt by my brother's false, cruel and derogatory words," Kennedy concluded.
There is one final layer to this scandal. In addition to being jaw-droppingly racist, RFK's remarks are just plain bad strategy. Michigan has a heavy Arab population and he's out there telling these people that they're stupid and useless. Next week, they'll have a chance to pay his entire party back in spades by sending Abdul El-Sayed to the Senate!

Trump's had it out for Obama ever since the 2011 White House correspondents dinner where, with Trump in attendance Obama raked him over the coals and embarrassed him so thoroughly that all Trump could do was sit there stone-faced and seething.
The reason Obama did that was because Trump had been questioning his citizenship calling him a Muslim.

🚨 WAIT A MINUTE: Melania Trump is now being credited with brokering a ceasefire in Ukraine by the White House—just one week after Pope Leo personally called Vladimir Putin to push for the SAME THING.
On October 16, Reuters reported that Pope Leo had called Putin to request a ceasefire in the Russian-occupied Ukrainian town of Oleshky to allow desperately needed humanitarian aid and food to reach civilians.
The Kremlin confirmed Putin had agreed to cooperate. The Vatican made clear the initiative came from the Pope himself.
Fast-forward to today.
The White House is now announcing that Melania Trump brokered a ceasefire in Oleshky, claiming SHE initiated discussions with Russian and Ukrainian leadership.
The Associated Press is reporting the White House's account without mentioning the Pope's earlier intervention.
So why is the White House taking credit for an initiative Pope Leo was publicly pursuing a week ago?

Trump's math on US deal for Venezuelan oil doesn't add up.
Experts are saying that a majority of the oil fields that the Trump has claimed the US now "controls" are either depleted or totally undeveloped. and that some of these fields are in a virtual wilderness posing huge technical problems and past attempts to develope in this area have been abandoned.
US energy companies like Exxon Mobil don't want to invest in Venezuela because of political instability, dilapidated pipelines, electrical grid instability, and poor infrastructure.
Experts say that Donald Trump's estimate that the United States will have access to 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan crude is grossly exaggerated. (Go figure) And they say that a more accurate estimate would be 10% of that.
So once again Donald Trump has put the cart before the horse and promised the American consumer something that he cannot and will not deliver.

Katie Porter found the job listing herself, in Irvine, California. It pays $16.50 an hour, which is $35,070 a year, and $29,100 after tax for a single mother with one child.
That's $2,425 a month. A one-bedroom apartment where she and her daughter share the room takes $1,600 of it, and utilities take another $100.
A 2008 minivan with gas is $400. The cheapest food budget the Department of Agriculture will admit to is another $400. The cheapest phone is $40, and after-school care, because the bank is open while school isn't, is $450.
That leaves her $567 short every month, with nothing in the budget for clothes, school lunches or medicine.
Porter asks Dimon how she should manage it. "I don't know. I'd have to think about that."
Should she open a Chase credit card and run a deficit? Should she overdraft and pay the fees? Same answer both times.
He offers to call her and see if the bank can be helpful. The job was still listed at that wage.
