난 이거 아무리 설명을 봐도 이해가 안됨;;;
ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND (1972) contains an unbroken 30-second shot that shows Alice magically shrinking in the frame after eating a magic mushroom, which continues to baffle people for over 50 years.
What you see really happened in one take with no cuts. There were no green screens, no compositing shots together and no digital VFX or CGI. It was captured in camera.
How do you think this incredible shot was accomplished?

Yes, but...
Next time you hear the bosses of the big AI companies say this to justify the gigantic costs of data centres to power their Large Language Models, bear this video in mind.
In short - it's the wrong type of AI.

As Anthropic prepares to IPO for over $1 trillion, a reminder of Dario Amodei’s words shortly after founding the company:
“Distributed human labor is being used to train AI models by large, centralized actors, who concentrate the resulting profits while in the long run making the human labor obsolete.”
In other words, this IPO will be built off the backs of the world’s creatives - who will get nothing out of it except obsolescence.
It is a totally unjust transfer of wealth and opportunity from artists, writers, musicians & other creatives to a tiny tech elite.
I hope it is remembered as such.

ILM sends its condolences to the family and loved ones of actor Walter Koenig, best known for portraying Pavel Chekov in the original Star Trek series and the first seven Star Trek films. ILM had the immense pleasure of working with Koenig on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan for scenes involving the Ceti eels and the creation of an oversized 'Chekov ear.'

This is the best box set I’ve ever bought! It's incredible! I wish it was a more complete Kubrick collection, still missing essays & extras from Warner Bros, Kino, Sony & Channel 4 but it’s the most comprehensive collection ever assembled. Well done @Criterion and @stanleykubrick
