When you’ve been through the fire enough times, you realize the fire wasn’t meant to destroy you. It was preparing you for something great on the other side.

Christopher “Deuce” Hunt Jr. (Jacksonville State) is off the board!!! He’s been a mainstay on my 2027 Watch Lists and part of my OK/TX fam for a while now. Duncanville (TX) pumps out talent year after year. This is a big time commitment for @JaxStateMBB.

I have posted my 2027 HS/Prep Watch List to Substack. Link here: petequinn1.substack.com/p/up… Just a reminder, future watch lists (HS/Prep and JUCO), player evaluations and jamboree/exposure event previews/recaps will be for paid subscribers on that platform. As most of you know, over the last few years I’ve shared thoughts/evaluations via Twitter; and provided information whenever people have reached out. Now I will be giving priority to paid subscribers. Thank you to those who have already pledged a subscription. It means a lot! Note: I also plan to post my 2027 JUCO Watch List in mid/late September - ahead of the October jamborees.

Class of 2027 6’2 Duncanville High School (TX) Christopher Hunt Jr has been offered by Vermont. Christopher has a quick crossover, plays at his own tempo, ferocious first step, makes jumpers off the bounce, intense on ball defender, competitive and gets his teammates involved.

IMO he could be one of the breakout stars this season in TX. I always knew he could score, but he showed a lot of growth as a passer and playmaker in yesterday’s games. @keith_langford put me on to him a couple summers ago and I’ve been keeping tabs ever since.
