Nurse Practitioner decided it was professionally appropriate to get in her car, turn on a camera, and film herself cheerfully singing a song whose opening lyric is “Fuck Donald Trump.” This was a deliberate public display of contempt for half the country, including many of her own patients. Healthcare requires that clinicians treat people without political hostility. Once that presumption is so openly abandoned, Trump-supporting patients are left asking a simple question: why should they trust their care won’t be tainted by the same hatred she performed on camera?
