$LITE down 10% just doesn't match what we've been seeing lately
The market moves in strange ways
Voting machine, weighing machine, whatever
Neoclouds getting crushed despite payback periods of less than a year?
With B200 and B300 pricing at record highs?
With hyperscalers reaffirming their capex plans?
With AWS saying they're booked through 2028?
$NBIS at $160 now
Impressive.
Things are getting crazy in the stock market
$IREN at $25
Woah.
$NBIS Secures $3.5 Billion Financing Facility With Citi
The facility has a 364-day maturity, with an initial interest rate of SOFR + 2.75%, potentially increasing to SOFR + 3.50%
One-year maturity
Nebius is being really aggressive with its buildout
Their payback expectations must be extremely strong.
Memory stocks could fall to a 0.01 P/E, and people would still say, "It's not cheap, it's cyclical."
$AMD Argues CPUs and FPGAs Are Just as Critical as GPUs for Physical AI
AMD argues that raw computing power is not enough for robotics and physical AI. Predictable latency, real-time responsiveness, and efficient data movement are more important
AMD advocates distributed computing architectures that combine GPUs and NPUs for AI inference, FPGAs for real-time control, and CPUs for coordination
Good lord
JPM with a massive revision on $SPCX
I understand the bullishness, but $500 is a bit absurd
It's quite obvious that these banks, which have profited so much from SpaceX's IPO, are pretty biased
JPM doubled $SPCX target price to $500
TLDR
JPM isn't raising SpaceX to $500 because rockets got better.
It's because its model effectively turns SpaceX into one of the world's largest AI infrastructure operators.
Takeaway:
How aggressive is the AI compute buildout?
Extremely aggressive.
Which GPUs are driving this?
Almost all of the 10 GW incremental compute planned for 2027 will be Nvidia Vera Rubin generation. SpaceX expects 440,000 Vera Rubin GPUs deployed by the end of 2Q27
Why does Vera Rubin matter so much?
It's not just more compute. Vera Rubin monetization could be roughly 40% higher than the strongest GB300 systems.
Better GPUs → more intelligence per watt → higher monetization → potentially faster payback → more compute investment
How much money could the AI business actually make?
By 2027, JPM expects SI to contribute 86% of total SpaceX revenue.
$MU Close to Avoiding Strike in Taiwan
Micron has reached an agreement with its Taichung labor union, potentially averting the October 22 strike
Starting FY2027, employees will receive quarterly profit-sharing bonuses, with 50% paid in cash and 50% in stock. Union projections suggest annual compensation could increase 179–249% for certain employee levels, depending on profitability
Musk Targets $SPCX First SRAM Test Chip by May–June 2027, With Volume Production in H2 2028
"We're just figuring out chip fabrication. So but I'll give it I'll tell you what our internal expectations are. Which obviously I put big error bars in this, because we don't know if we will actually achieve this or not. But it's what we're aiming for internally, is to make our first sort of test chip functional in approximately May or June of next year. That's just a kind of a SRAM chip or something that basically tests the line. That's at the research fab in Austin. And we're aiming to our aspiration is to reach volume production around Q3 of '28.
At Terafab, at Gibbons Creek the main Terafab location. Now, these are very aggressive dates. And we're very appreciative of ASML and all of our other suppliers in accelerating equipment deliveries in order to achieve this outcome. Let's just say that that outcome of achieving volume production is, at least in the set of possible outcomes for Q3 or Q4 of '28. So these are obviously like insanely fast time frames for chip production. We do have, I think, some significant potential breakthroughs in chip fabrication, but I don't think I should discuss that on an earnings call."
This is actually not that bad from Anthropic
The improvement in profitability is quite insane. It may actually be worth $1+ trillion after all
I’m unable to make any payments through Revolut or with my cards
If it weren’t for the fact that I have another bank, I’d be helpless
Wow.
So much for the CEO acting cocky in interviews lately
Not a serious bank yet
HSBC absolutely DESPISES $CRWV
-36.5% downside in their eyes
"Hyperscalers will earn higher revenue per MW."
"Moderation in compute demand ahead."
"Rising yields and debt market will constrain buildout."
"2028 EPS estimates 60% below consensus."
Ouch
Serious question
When will the space industry become self-sustaining rather than one subsidized by shareholders?
Apart from Starlink and a handful of other exceptions, most space companies are unprofitable
That’s not something you normally see across an entire industry
I'll be honest, the people doubting neoclouds just lack the ability to think long term
I'm not talking about company-specific cases, but the concept itself
A hyper-specialized business with the sole purpose of securing power for energy-hungry AI and maximizing inference performance and efficiency at both the software and hardware levels
It's a custom-made business model for the largest revolution in the history of technology, perfectly designed to serve it, and yet people think it's a speculative, maybe even temporary industry
Nonsense.
Are these companies really going to keep using the Super Intelligence term?
It’s just not possible to stop using “AI.” Why do they even try to overcomplicate things?
I don’t believe for a second they’re sticking with that
The path to accelerating Super Intelligence demands a fundamental leap in memory and storage capabilities.
Join us Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 8 a.m. MT for a technology webinar led by Scott DeBoer, Micron President and Chief Technology and Products Officer. “By the end of the 2030s, quantum is a trillion dollars of market value.”
— $IBM CEO
That's a BIG statement
Makes me wanna get more serious about quantum stocks, even if he's obviously biased
Good revenue figures from $EOSE, but this thing isn’t re-rating until they improve their abysmal gross margins.
Eos Energy $EOSE | Q3 Revenue 🔋
Eos Energy announce preliminary Q3 results, with $82 - 83m in revenue expected for the quarter, and $300m+ expected for the full year.
This outlines 170% YoY growth for Q3,
58% growth for Q4, and 163%+ for FY 📈
B200 and B300 prices are reaching all-time highs
Wow
Definitely not just bullish for neoclouds (in terms of forward-looking pricing), but bullish for the semi/data center complex overall
Sometimes people forget, but the whole semi rally is about making a very valuable product
Yesterday, @OrnnExchange's B200 and B300 indexes reached a new all-time high prices, with the B200 hitting $8.54/GPU-hour.
It is clear that today's market is lacking GPU capacity, and that the companies building deploying capacity are looking to improve their credit. In the past trading week as the B200 rental price increased by 12.9%, $CRWV fell by 25.2%.
Why does $CRWV move inversely to rising compute prices as a neocloud? 98% of Coreweave's Q2 revenue came from committed contracts, 72% from three customers, and most of its $104B backlog is recognized after mid-2028.
CoreWeave's backlog is locked at fixed prices. These higher market rates matter for new contracts they sign, so the question is where rental rates end up when their contracts roll off.
Ornn's index tracks transacted prices in order to capture what buyers are actually willing to pay for on-demand GPU rentals, real signal for tracking the value of compute.
