Attn: PHP2Shell vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619] DOES NOT affect Oracle Hyperion
4/4 Please update Java on EVERY server in your Hyperion environment. For instructions on how to do it, see here: docs.oracle.com/en/applicati…
3/4 I would safely assume that the next Hyperion release in the coming days (version 11.2.27) would probably include a Java version prior to 8u511, unless they decide to update it last minute.
2/3 - While I'm a big advocate for not applying any patches not certified or regression tested with Hyperion, Java 8 would be an exception and actually recommended and supported to be updated outside of the quarterly patch releases.
Oracle Security Alert for CVE-2026-91403 - While this alert does not affect Hyperion directly, it does impact the version of Java that is being utilized. The CVE states Java version 8U511, the current version that comes with Hyperion (version 11.2.26.) is 8u491. 1/2
