UKPA Interview with Nigel Ellacott youtu.be/vv1gghHAkKw?si=qntF… @theatrecurator @UKPantomime RIP Nigel ❤️

Nigel was a friend for almost 30 years, long before IBY and yet another joy of having being involved with the KMT back in the day. The KMT is a thread that binds so many people together, and I feel blessed to have that in my life even on this saddest of days. Simon

To his beloved husband Andrew, and brother Vivyan, and all the family and friends feeling sorrow today I send my deepest condolences and love. The outpourings from the industry today show how much he was loved and treasured - a true legend./4

The site will be offline for a little bit, although you can still access Nigel's 50 Years in Panto and the 24/25 Diary. If you want to contribute to a tribute page for Nigel, then please email [email protected] and we'll add it to the page once we relaunch. /3

We were very grateful to @XRoadsPantos for continuing their sponsorship for 2024/2025 and as the last man standing I'll make sure we continue to serve the Pantoland family that Nigel loved, respected and championed so much by keeping the site running in his absence /2

In 2000 Nigel contacted me to come on board and help him and Peter build a 'small' website to compliment the Pantomime Roadshow. And IBY was born..... It is anything but a 'small' website now and one of Nigel's legacies will be the vast historical resource it has become. /1

We have lost a legend of pantomime and a dear friend. Rest in peace dear Nigel ❤️
