Tonight, @UofT Student Union passed a motion calling on the University of Toronto to boycott partnerships with institutions that contribute to the illegal occupation of Palestine or that deny Palestinian human rights. Bravo to all of the students who organized and voted. The motion reads: "BE IT RESOLVED that the UTSU calls on UofT to end institutional partnerships with all institutions involved in the denial of basic human rights or in maintaining the Israeli occupation, and do not recognize or support the rights of Palestinians under international law including but not limited to: the right to self-determination, the right to equal rights as citizens in their homeland, and the right of return to their homeland.
