Most countries gypsies do this to be honest. I鈥檝e heard copper-theft jokes about them from pretty much everywhere in Europe. The Balkans and places like Slovakia tend to be very bad though

adaptation to the mediterranean makes them have somewhat similar skin tones, but even with the hot climate they do not average the same in terms of swarthiness

your suspicions are partly correct i suppose.

That admixture is entirely Roman-Era, so the point remains (it also wouldnt do anything phenotypically). But I cant remember being in a hoi4 server; makes no sense since i barely played the game and didnt particularly enjoy it. perhaps you are confusing me for someone else

No I will not say that to someone with the tendencies of a leech

only linguistic; the portuguese are practically identical to roman-era lusitanian samples. the few non-european settlers who moved to iberia (probably very few in portugal) more so did the opposite and converted others to their islamic faith. their genetic presence is basically 0
if they were close to moroccans then this would be partly correct. also you just agreed with what i said.

north africans and arabs (of whom im grouping as moors) didnt settle iberia at a high rate at all. highest estimates are ~10%, only for them to be expelled anyway. my point with the linguistic part is that influence from a language has no correlation to genetics at all.
when portuguese genetics or phenotypes is brought up the first thing you hear is north africans claiming the portuguese have their blood.
