Been a listener of Musical Freedom, Revealed Recordings, and Barong Family since their inception. Wish I had found Minus is More sooner but I wasn’t into the harder styles yet. Honorable mentions of Spinnin’ and its sub-labels, and more likely than not Redemption Records soon.

Life is so weird in amazing ways. Bobby is someone I went to Sunday school/high school with. Dude was always the nicest and had passion for rap/music forever. Seeing this makes me so happy.

Some DJs haven’t played in 10 months but then do a livestream and their set is like 75% the same as it was before. Why don’t ya just take another year off when shows are back ok? We can just find you on YouTube with that old set. Harsh? Maybe 🤷

Although I stopped working in music this year I am still very much an active listener and I have to say I have really been impressed with how @beatport has showcased artists and curated events/playlists with great minds like @jlmafi leading the way.

I would really like to see more platforms take on this more honest and forward thinking stance with the spotlight they hold and set aside the weight of popularity and commercialism more often to let so many more of the underexposed talented creatives around us shine.
