The news today stings.
Patrick Stewart was one hell of an actor, and a kind person. I think weβll all miss him. π«
Note to self: If someone you're trying to sell headphones to waffles for 2 days, asks to have a huge discount, then bails and asks to reschedule multiple times: They might not be a great person to sell to.
Grew a pair for the first time in a minute and just said "No thanks."
I just finished Titanfall 2 VR after having a really rough start to the week, and I NEEDED this.
@CircuitLord: You've made a damn good mod. I actually teared up a bit at the end. (You know what you did!)
This is the gold standard for VR games. Legit 10/10 on top of a 10/10 game.

After getting some help with fixing my PC from my friends @Midnightwayne1 and @IDTen_T and putting in the power supply with my mom's help, I finally decided to rearrange my stuff around my desk and fixed my cable management.
So much better than last time XD

I promised a video PSA, and here it is!!
Has VLC Media Player been having trouble starting up?
Same for some of your streaming setup apps?
I might have a solution!

If you are a streamer who also uploads to YouTube, here is my biggest piece of advice:
Download the Source Record plugin for OBS. TRUST.
What this does is enables OBS to record individual video sources, simultaneously, when youβre streaming.
But Choc, why the fuck would I want to do that?
Because now you have more flexibility with video and audio when making a video from your stream VOD. This will result in a more polished finished product.
The way I have it configured is, as soon as I start streaming, gameplay and webcam record (and sometimes Discord for multiplayer or collabs) as separate .mkvs, with separate audio tracks, so I can turn them into videos without alerts or other stream overlays being in the way.
Also, .mkv > .mp4 because you have a much better chance to recover the file if anything crashes.
I also have the files auto-split at 20 minutes, this way, if stream or my PC dies, I donβt lose the entire session.
This setup allows me to triple dip on one stream with stream VOD, an edited video and short-form content for clips.
Hope this helps.
Watching the Nintendo Direct this morning, seeing the new Metroid game: I had a flash of horrible inspiration.
