Scientists train for years to do science but we get almost no training in how to talk about it. In a way it makes sense - science and communication are two totally different disciplines. But these past few years have shown us just how important it is to master these skills.
This week on alpha, I’m talking with scientist-turned-science-communication expert @sarakyeo who has so much wisdom to share. If you are a scientist, I highly recommend you check this one out.
And did you know a dad joke can make a scientist seem more trustworthy than a clever, sarcastic one? Good news for me :)
