Now feels like a pretty suitable moment to speak from the heart. This season started off exactly how I had hoped but it very quickly unravelled with tough luck and poor performances. It’s been the first proper season of my career where I’ve had more bad days than good.

Sainz hit Piastri in Hungary, costing him a possible P1 and got a 5 second penalty… Piastri hits Lindblad for P7 in Mexico, with no where else to go, and Piastri gets a 10 second penalty… make it make sense!!

If nothing else, this race showed Oscar’s elite mentality. Bounced back from the horrors of qualifying, was running a - at the very least - good race (which is what he and Stella have said) and then got fucked over by the FIA. I fully expect a great performance in Brazil
