A thread about INDEX's contributions to Ukraine's cultural and academic scene, with feedback from our Fellows who have created art, published articles, finished manuscripts, and acquired an embodied, nuanced knowledge of life in Ukraine in the very intense 3 months since launch.
The INDEX team is delighted to share the progress we've made just 3 months after our official launch! We have launched our pilot fellowship programme, made 50 institutional connections, and co-organised 31 events. Check out the warm feedback from our Fellows in the thread below.

Viktoria Roshchyna was physically healthy before her imprisonment by Russian forces. We have every reason to believe that her death was either the result of intentional murder or a consequence of the cruel treatment and violence she suffered while in Russian captivity.

We are proud to have participated in the @INDEX_Ukraine launch event with @TimothyDSnyder and @serhiy_zhadan in Lviv last Saturday. Recognizing that historical events such as the Holodomor have long remained understudied due to inadequate preservation of knowledge, INDEX will archive the important materials collected by 300+ Documenting Ukraine grantees, making an important contribution to chronicling Russia's war of aggression. Congrats to the wonderful INDEX team for their remarkable work!
