🚨 Traffic & Road Safety Concern | Kalyan Nagar – Babusapalya – Outer Ring Road 📍 Location: Babusapalya Bus Stand, Outer Ring Road, towards Teen Factory, Kalyan Nagar. Looking at the speed breakers constructed on both sides of the Ring Road, one can easily understand how “scientifically” they have been built. Cement has simply been poured from a mixer vehicle and a speed breaker of approximately 15–20 feet in length has been constructed directly on the road. There appears to be no proper design, standard dimensions, or adequate consideration for road safety and smooth traffic movement. Perhaps this is the “new scientific method of road construction” according to the concerned officials and responsible staff! These unscientific speed breakers are affecting the smooth movement of vehicles and are contributing to heavy traffic congestion while also increasing the risk of accidents. I request the concerned authorities to immediately inspect the location, remove the unsafe construction, and install a properly designed and standard-compliant speed breaker wherever required. Road safety is not a matter to be taken lightly. 🚨 Urgent Traffic & Road Safety Concern – Kalyan Nagar Flyover, ORR The service road issue at Kalyan Nagar Flyover on the Outer Ring Road is still not fully resolved. Despite the complaint and the matter being brought to the attention of the concerned authorities, one side of the service road remains closed, and a large portion of the road is currently blocked merely to park a single machine/construction equipment. This is causing significant traffic congestion and inconvenience, especially during peak hours. Another major concern is that Google Maps still shows this service road as open. Motorists following navigation enter the service road from the left, only to find that it is blocked ahead. As a result, some motorists are forced to: ➡️ Return to the main carriageway ➡️ Attempt a U-turn ➡️ Or, in some cases, enter the service road from the wrong direction This creates unnecessary congestion and, more importantly, increases the risk of accidents involving motorists, two-wheelers and pedestrians. 🙏 I respectfully request the concerned agency and authorities not to keep the entire service road closed merely for parking a single machine or construction equipment. If the machine needs to be parked, an alternative location should be identified so that the service road regularly used by the general public remains open, particularly during peak traffic hours. Until the road is reopened, the road closure/restriction should also be updated on Google Maps and other navigation platforms, so that motorists are not directed towards a blocked road. This is not merely a traffic inconvenience; it is also a road safety concern. Timely action can help prevent a potential accident and ensure safer traffic movement.
