🚨Down But Not Out is LIVE!🚨 Mint returns! Again! And we have much to discuss The Death of Evil Geniuses, our thoughts on casting & analyst work, tech pauses, co-streaming, TACHANKA'S BUFF, and more -- all before we answer some of YOUR questions WATCH: youtu.be/IkoCCbUcxdg

EG played a huge role in Rainbow 6 esports & should be celebrated for all they did to legitimize our scene; we're better off because of them While the org no longer remains, we can always revisit the good old days by rewatching the SI 2018 Grand Finals for the hundredth time

Eventually, internal issues within the org, and a lack of success in Siege, prompted them to exit our scene. I think many of us hoped EG would right the ship but a brief resurgence in other games was not enough to save them

EG's constant support of their team, captained by Canadian - one of the most legendary players of all time - did wonders to help grow our game. Even during the down years, EG still showed more interest than most other orgs, producing content and covering their R6 team regularly

And what an entrance it was, with EG's team making back-to-back Six Invitational Grand Finals to battle the unstoppable PENTA. What unfolded was one of the greatest matches in Siege history -- a match so good it would take 6 years for another match to challenge it for that title

EG was one of the first "big" orgs to enter our esport, picking up Continuum - the defending World Champs. The growth of our game, and the growth of our esport, was helped by EG's involvement EG saw value in our game & signaled to other orgs that Rainbow 6 was worthy of support

I don't usually get emotional about esports orgs but this one hurts. Evil Geniuses holds a very special & important place in Rainbow 6 esports history It's a shame what the org became and an even greater shame to see them shut down. Thanks for the memories

You were a terrific guest! Thanks for sharing your time and stories with us

The answer to that first question, of course, is NO - R6 streamers cannot ban your account Only Ubisoft can/will ban your account. If we had the power to ban accounts I'd have banned KingGeorge a dozen times by now
